SPEAK Now is an effort to encourage and equip
churches to speak out and take action on the Executed of 21 clergy and church
people who were victims of extra-judicial killings and human rights violations. It
is aimed at facilitating awareness among church people in the Philippines and international partners worldwide on the worsening human
rights violations committed in the Philippines. It is hoped that SPEAK Now would contribute to the ongoing campaign and advocacy to
bring justice to the victims and their families.
In the span of
18 months, SPEAK Now Campaign aims to:
- Encourage and equip churches to speak out and take action on the killings of 21
clergy and church people;
- Support the families of the victims, particularly the 21 clergy
and church members; and
- Forge solidarity and alliances with and among Human Rights formations abroad.
